a

COLOR Dansa was created in spring 1994 by Mudit Grau (artistic direction and choreography) and Silvia Calvo (production and management).

COLOR Dansa was created with the aim of reaching a varied, open-minded audience with the use of different elements and universal concepts.

COLOR Dansa presents productions which sometimes fuse flamenco dance frameworks with new elements of diverse origin. And another time using different styles and disciplines of dance to reveal their similarities and differences like human being.

"mientes + k parpadeas"

Choreography: Mudit Grau

Flamenco meets HipHop. There is a growing tendency for musicians, groups and singers to embark on the fusion between flamenco and hip-hop - to the extent that this relatively new musical and sociological trend has earned itself numerous fans.
The insistent rhythms and provocative lyrics of hip-hop have suddenly found themselves further reinforced by the profound emotional charge of flamenco, which has made for a fascinatingly explosive cocktail.

With an excellent soundtrack featuring a selection of the best artists of the genre, offers a dance show full of dramatic intensity.
The company, with its highly professional dancers, powerfully convey this story of love and power which, through the tempestuous relationship of the two main characters, becomes a metaphor for this both strange and fascinating fusion of genres.

"Al-Andalus"

 Choreography: Mudit Grau

Here is a dance show starring seven young women who transmit beauty and pain of the Flamenco spirit, and passion and pleasure of Flamenco dance. Ninety minutes of soul in motion and the passion of a millenary culture which, in a new and exciting language, fuses dance and the essence of Flamenco into a sole art with no frontiers.
